The best part for me has been seeing their faces as they have gone through each of the pages and found pictures or mementos that had long been forgotten. My father recently retired and my mum had stored in a box, up in the loft about 30 years of press clippings, tickets, invitations etc. I wanted to give him an extra special present and found The Memory Company online. After speaking to Julie I was confident that they would put a great deal of care and attention into making a scrapbook for him and so I sent them all the papers. I had phone calls updating me and checking the style I wanted at every stage of the design and I couldn’t wait to see the finished result. When I received the scrapbook I was amazed by how much time and detail had gone into it and when we gave it to my father at his retirement dinner it bought tears to his eyes! I cannot thank you enough for making the scrapbook; it is wonderful and will be part of our family history for many years to come.

I just wanted to let you know the scrapbook arrived yesterday and I am thrilled with it. It is absolutely wonderful. The choice of paper, all the little embellishments and the layout are wonderful and really complement the material you had. I never met my husband’s grandfather but I got a sense of him through the articles and photos you used, and particularly the quotation you used on the front cover. I really believe my husband will be delighted and it will mean so much to him.
